Canoe Trips and Instruction

Multi-Day Canoe River Trips

We have great multi day canoe river trips on the Colorado River, Gunnison River, White River, and the Dolores River. One, two and three day trips are available. We have theme trips, such as our beer and wine tasting, solo travelers trips, family trips, music trips and more! You can sign up online for these trips! No canoe experience required.

Canoe Instruction

Both flat water canoeists and those wishing to pursue whitewater rivers will benefit from our 2 1/2 hour evening session. Colorado has lakes and rivers ideally suited for canoeing. This course will introduce all strokes, maneuvers, safety, and equipment. If you plan to go canoeing, this clinic will help make your trip easier and more enjoyable.

Lake and River Clinics are available through our Private Instruction. We will also take names to organize a canoe class. We need 4 people on the same date to form a group class/clinic. Our prices for this clinic are per person. Two people will pay the per-person fee and if they need a tandem boat, they would then pay for one boat fee.

What to Expect:
This course is designed for those who wish to pursue lake canoeing or whitewater canoeing. It will give you a very strong foundation for your future canoeing pleasure. We start your program with an introduction to the boats and equipment. Then you'll progress to paddling strokes, braces to keep yourself upright, and deep water rescues.
