Colorado Scenic Mountain UTV ToursPolaris Ranger 'CREW' UTV--Utility All Terrain Vehicle
Ranger Crew is similar to a Jeep but combines the agility and fun of an ATV. The 'CREW' can go on all of our trails with or without the ATV's. With the addition of the 'Crew' we can now take up to 5 adults on ATV's and 5 adults or children in the 'Crew'. Now the whole family can experience the untamed back country of the Rocky Mountains.
Advantage of the 'CREW' is our professional guide is driving so you can enjoy the scenery and mountains more comfortably. With the addition of the 'CREW' we are expanding our trail system, so check back often.
Combine a ATV Tour with the UTV TourYou may reserve your seats on one of our Crew UTV Tours below in the brown box. If some of your party prefers to drive their own ATV, please book the number of ATVs that you want to reserve on our ATV page. To have members of your group on the same tour in different types of transportation, you may book this trip plus an ATV tour at: ATV Tour for the same time and date.
TRAILS and PRICING
Red Elephant TrailThe Red Elephant Trail is a beautiful loop trail with several views of different mountains in the Continental Divide. The trail takes us up to over 10,000 feet. Red Elephant has aspen groves, as well as many varieties of evergreen trees. Red Elephant is the birthing habitat for the largest herd of Big Horn Sheep in the USA. Be sure to bring a camera
Silver Creek TrailThe Silver Creek Trail was traveled by miners as early as 1884. The trail takes us up to a beautiful flower filled meadow with the Silver Creek Spring dividing the ghost town of Silver Creek. Today Silver Creek has only foundations of buildings, mining structures and tailings. Hard to imagine miners using this same trail daily to pick up mail in Lawson.
Join us for an exciting adventure in our Utility All Terrain Vehicle.
We navigate our way on historic mining trails through the scenic Rocky Mountains enjoying breathtaking vistas of the Continental Divide and Mount Evans. You will experience the serenity of the untamed mountains coupled with the exhilaration of an UTV. There are many trails to choose from offering something for every ability and thrill level. Visit historic mining sites and the remnants of Silver Creek, a mining town of 1887. We will stop along the way to capture the awesome views and of course when we see wildlife, so be sure to bring a camera.
We start with the safety briefing on our UTV. The guide will then take you to our practice area that has terrain similar to what we experience on our trails for a quick ride around our terrain park to give you an idea of what is to come. All tours include a Professional Guide, safety video, UTV, helmet, and operational and safety instruction. The trails quickly climb out of the valley, past wildflowers and up into Aspen Tree groves and Lodge Pole Pines. The entire trail ride is rich in mining history, and as you ride up the mountain you can image how tough those miners must have been!
Our guides are qualified professionals that have First Aid and CPR certification, a love of the outdoors, and are dedicated to make your UTV TOUR fun and a memorable time. To insure safety we can accommodate 2-5 people at one time for a more personalized experience. Tours are available 7 days a week all year long—weather permitting—a little snow adds to the fun! All Tours go rain or shine. Reservations are required.
